Ruth shows tremendous loyalty by going with her, knowing that the chance she could remarry would be almost nil. Ruth goes to the fields of a relative, Boaz, to glean what is left when his harvesters have finished. She finds favor with Boaz, and he becomes her kinsman redeemer.
